Loose voices of a money changer.

The exchange rate in this city is drowning with the words that are not said, in exchange of a little more security in the shadow of formless talks. And yesterday the rate was somewhat better, was to…

The thing about growing up is you have to let some things go. When you were a kid and you had your favorite blanket or your favorite stuffed animal, then when your mother told you that you were getting too old for those things and you had to let them go, it was hard but you did it. I am saying this because when you grow older you will have to let go of some things in your life and you will have to let go of some people. You don’t have to do it completely, but maybe you will have to let go of the kind of relationship you had with the person.

As a growing child you start to develop a sense of independence and you want to do things yourself. You want to make yourself known as an individual and not “your mothers child” or “your fathers child” even though you are this, you want to make a name for yourself. It is easy to do this but hard to keep the same relationship with others.

I am moving out soon as a 19 year old girl. My wants and needs are now different than when I was 4 or even 14. My parents hate to see me go and they try to talk me out of it. It was a hard process to have a tough conversation with them letting them know I am growing up and this is something that had to be done. But as time went on they are starting to help me and give me advice for what I need to do when I move out. What I may need, what things that I might want and who to call when things happen.

It honestly is a good thing to grow. You learn things you thought you never would and your relationships grow as well. Yes, it is sad to see some people leave your life but in my opinion, they were there to teach you a lesson. Take the lesson they may have taught you and fly with it.
