The will to transition is a pedagogy in the social construction of biology. And as the landscape becomes unrecognizable, so goes the teleology of hierarchy and Preto and so called human nature; merely aesthetics. One day, Kate Bush will get to run up that hill to make a deal with God.

Change is the only constant it seems, crushing to dust civilization after civilization along with the knowledge and truth proposed and templated upon creations of epistemology. What chance did God and man have against that? And nothing is linear in this, there is too much apocalypse for any historical progression through intuition. Too much history that was never history. Time and space are the liars we live with.

And yet God and man remain undead. It is our nostalgia for these husks that chases after their resurrection of failure, mocked by morality on their slow march toward Tartarus. A nostalgia that’s willing to turn the earth into a wasteland; they walk upon iced snow and hear the crunch of their defeat; their destination approaches; the air is a watery Cocytus, with the moans of Leviathans and Megalodons in pre-genealogical combat. Satan is a simulacra bath toy compared to nostalgia.

And so Foucault sat at the head of the table, growing Nietzsche’s moustache, writing about endings.
