Expanding My Horizon

It was about seven years ago when I got my first real job in a warehouse working the graveyard shift. My daily routine was to sleep during the day, eat then go to work starting at 11 p.m. Working long hours through-out the week month after month and year after year I became worn out of the warehouse job and knew I had to change things up because I wanted more than just an ordinary job. I felt that I was selling my self short and not living up to my potential. I began looking for a career that was in-demand and also something I can see myself doing. I started to browse the internet and often came across advertisements on Facebook and also Instagram about people who started a career in digital marketing. With digital marketing now in my head I began searching for online classes that would teach you the ins and outs of digital marketing. This is when Udacity’s digital marketing program popped up and I instantly became interested. Not to much long after I signed up and started the program. At first it was difficult with all the new terminology and the projects for the class but after being in it for the first few weeks I started to learn and become more confident. I now look at the internet and everything online much more differently because how it is used as a tool to reach an audience through digital marketing. I feel by the end of this program I will be able to look for a career that I choose to do and rather not the other way around.
