Stake Capital is excited to announce support for NuCypher, an innovative cryptographic network for privacy-preserving applications. In the works for well over two years now, NuCypher enables disintermediated support for a number of key cryptographic functions, including secrets management, dynamic access control over sensitive data, and secure computation.
With a reputation as an industry leader in the DeFi space, Stake Capital is well positioned to help bolster NuCypher’s network of participants working to provide cryptographic services. NuCypher is currently in a public testnet running on Ethereum’s Goerli testnet and will be launching on mainnet in the coming months.
The NuCypher network consists of “Staker” nodes and “Worker” nodes (also called “Ursula” nodes). Worker nodes provide the cryptographic services, and Staker nodes enable token holders to bond their NuCypher tokens to worker nodes in order to earn an interest rate. Stake Capital will operate a “worker” on the NuCypher network — and currently has an active worker on the testnet.
Additionally, we (Stake Capital) are working on a pooled Staker node which will enable significantly easier access to the NuCypher interest rate for token holders. Instead of requiring interest seeking token holders to run their own Nucypher Staker nodes — a task which requires a fair amount of technical knowledge — via our NuCypher Staker pool, token holders will simply be able to allow a (pool) smart contract to stake their tokens into our Staker node on their behalf.
Focus on what you do best and delegate the rest to Stake Capital.
